Q:    How do I make payment?

A: Payment should normally be made by cheque when sending your completed booking form to the BCT Office.  Alternatively, an official Purchase Order Form can be attached to the booking form.  Payment can also be made by bank transfer; email finance@bctgroup.org.uk for bank account details.

Q:    I work/volunteer for a charity, can I have a discount?

A: BCT is a not-for-profit organisation.  Those not-for-profit organisations that are members of Bristol Community Transport qualify for a discount off the standard MiDAS and PATS charges.

Q:    I’d like to book three people on the same course, can I have a discount?

A: Yes.  Please contact the Driving & Training Manager to discuss discounts that are offered for multiple bookings.

Q:    Are the MiDAS training fees subject to VAT?

A: The MiDAS training is “zero rated” and so no VAT is charged.

Q:    I can’t make the training date I’ve booked on.  Can I cancel the booking?

A: Please contact us if you’re no longer available for the booked training date.  You are able to send one of your colleagues in your place for the training and assessment.  A fresh booking can then be made for you at a later stage.  We do not offer refunds for cancelled places.
